It All Comes Down to This

The 2018 Intermountain Cup series has been hosted races at some of Utah’s most amazing venues, from St. George to North Fork Park. This August, the final race of the series will be held at Powder Mountain, a course we christened just a year ago. The course is known for both its demanding terrain and spectacular views, providing an excellent venue for riders who have what it takes to compete. This race is sure to offer up a thrilling finale to the 2018 series, and will prove to be the ultimate test for this year’s champions.

The trail network at Powder Mountain offers up 360° panoramic views all along the course, and promises fast and exciting riding with a starting elevation of 8,200 feet and a maximum elevation of approximately 8,900 feet. This Intermountain Cup course will take competitors on an all-encompassing 15-mile lap of the network as they circumvent the top ridgeline of the ski area. The full-distance lap (there will be a short course for JH Boys, JV Girls, JH Girls and Novice Men’s and Women’s categories) will feature approximately 1,800 feet of climbing starting from the Timberline Lodge.*

*Course to be finalized based on venue construction and trail conditions.
