Snowbird goes to Sarah Kaufmann and James Driscoll

Snowbird Resort – It was a confusing day.

There were tons of people walking around in ski gear, the lifts were running, and despite plenty of skepticism about it being possible, the Rage at Snowbird went off with only slight modifications to the course.

It was a perfect day for a bike race and 241 riders lined up to test themselves against the steep grades and high altitude at the Snowbird Resort.

After a grueling 5 laps, James Driscoll took the top honors for the Men’s Elite category besting Brennon Peterson by a mere 15.7 seconds. They were followed by Justin Lindine who rounded out the podium.

The Women’s Elite race went to Sarah Kaufmann who put a minute and 35 seconds on Nicole Tittensor over the 4 laps. Katelyn Williams took third followed by Natalie Quinn who won the first 3 races in the series.

Complete results can be seen here.

The next race in the series is the Battle at North Fork.
